Client in East Sheen South West London
We carried out a house extension 5 years ago for this Client so it was nice to hear that they wanted us to give them a quote for a loft conversion.
They already had plans drawn up for the loft but it was not well designed and there was potential for more space. We advised them that the layout can be a lot better than it is on the plans and we could build a further dormer to the rear addition roof. Also we would not put the en-suite shower room to the front of the loft but to the rear as it would give them more head room in the en-suite. The loft head room was low and some loft conversions on the road had raised the ridge which is not allowed. We came up with a solution that would give them more head room without lowering the ceiling joists on the 1st floor and also a much better layout for the en-suite.
Once the loft was completed they where very happy with the out come from a 2 Bed 1 Bathroom Victorian Terrace in East Sheen, to a 4 Bed 2 Bathroom property. You can imagine the amount of money they saved by not moving home and also the increase in value on their property.
